I have a dangerous love affair with food. The diet sorely loses as soon as my eyes fixate upon a tasty treat. They will forever win my heart.
Sweet tooth. That's me. Desserts, puddings, cakes, patisserie, biscuits and chocolates - you name it - I love it! (Ironically, I got my first filling today, woops.)
Just as much as I adore eating them, I love baking and making them. For me, baking is an enjoyably de-stressing hobby. As I began my A-levels where anxiety was at it's peak, baking really helped me to keep it at bay, as my mind was occupied in the intricacies of decorating my sugar filled friends. I still use it as a means of de-stressing amongst the hassles of uni life.
I believe that food should not only taste good, but look great too. After all, it's an art form, right?
I do love to cook generally too, so watch out for other sorts of recipes as well!
Why call it 'The Dainty Cook'? Well, I'm a dainty individual who likes to create dainty little things.
Oh and I am obsessed with the French.
I'm also a photography freak and I love to write (aspiring journalist over here), so I thought, a perfect way to combine my 3 loves is by making my very own food blog :)
Currently kitchenless due to house renovations, so forgive me if I do more reviewing than 'making' at the moment.
